About Barbara
As a lifelong Rhode Islander, a third-generation registered nurse, and a single mom, I've seen firsthand the challenges facing our communities. After 15 years caring for patients in hospital, home care, and long-term care settings, I know that access to quality healthcare is becoming harder for too many Rhode Islanders. Our state is struggling to attract and retain doctors, dentists, and other healthcare professionals, and we need practical solutions that strengthen our healthcare workforce and improve access to care.
I also believe parents should be respected as partners in their children's education. Families deserve transparency, open communication, and a voice in decisions that affect their children.
Our taxpayers work hard for every dollar they earn, and they deserve a government that does the same. We need greater accountability for how tax dollars are spent, with a focus on responsible budgeting and measurable results—not wasteful spending.
I'm running for State Representative because I believe Rhode Island can do better. I will fight for stronger healthcare, greater government accountability, respect for parents, and common-sense policies that make our state more affordable and create opportunities for working families. Together, we can build a Rhode Island that serves its people with integrity, responsibility, and results.

Parents — not government — know what's best for their children. Barbara will defend parental rights in education, support school choice, and ensure our schools are focused on academic excellence.
Economic Expansion and Small Business Growth
Small businesses are the engine of District 22. Barbara will cut red tape, reduce the tax burden on local entrepreneurs, and create an environment where businesses and workers can thrive.
